I just ordered an electronic unit hope it works! I've been having an issue with them for a while but they just got into my fairing last week. I thought I was making progress but it has turned into a second job!

anyone else using the electronic deal? Says it repels spiders too? Might have to get another for the house!

I've tried several of the more expensive "safe" and "humane" mouse traps but the two most (and cheapest) means I've found for getting rid of mice is the pellets and the little black plastic spring traps baited with a dab of peanut butter.

I've also found that it is better to dispose of them before they get into the house so don't hesitate to place traps around your yard away from your pets of course.

I've had preventive success with moth ***** in an old sock, stuffed in cubby holes in the engine compartment of our cars and the black traps near the doors of our garage.

If anyone has had success with the electronic devices that claim to deter mice, bats, etc., please post the brand name and model of the device.
I'd much rather to drive them away than to have to poison or trap them but either way they're not living in my house if I have anything (and I do) so say about it!

Yah, it's bad enough having friends who urinate in your garden without having mice run trails of it all over your bike too. I mean, if it gets bad enough, their body grease, dirt & urine even builds up into small mounds called urine pillars. The mice's that is, not the friends.

It's a shame because they are kind of cute and what they can do is impressive, if only they'd evolved sufficient to the point where they took care of their own business like cats. Again, the mice that is ... there's no hope for many of my friends in that department.

But, in both cases, it's all about the same thing, asserting degrees of male dominance.

I recently watch a mouse face off a cat who wanted to play tag with it. So they have ***** too for something so small.

I'm kind of fascinated by how the mice got and get in there?

I know they can jump as high as a foot - that's about 3 times their actual length or the equivalent of 18' for us - or climb up smooth, vertical surfaces. How do they get into the fairing? It can't be up the forks. And what happens when you start it up, do you end up with a rain of mices scurrying out?

I guess you need to deal with it in case a female starts to nest and have pups there.

The factory must take action about this ... we obvious need a Willie G Mouse Trap™ in the catalogue too!

I didn't open the link but it may be correct. Some time ago, a member, mikelikesbikes (now banned), used a gun in his home to kill rodents.

I got several electronic mouse traps from tractor supply. Just spread a little peanut butter in the end of it and they walk in and get there little asses fried. Pick up, dump out and your good to go. It flashes a little led light to let you have electrocuted one.
