Keeping mice out of my fairing

anyone else using the electronic deal? Says it repels spiders too? Might have to get another for the house!
I've also found that it is better to dispose of them before they get into the house so don't hesitate to place traps around your yard away from your pets of course.
I've had preventive success with moth ***** in an old sock, stuffed in cubby holes in the engine compartment of our cars and the black traps near the doors of our garage.
If anyone has had success with the electronic devices that claim to deter mice, bats, etc., please post the brand name and model of the device.
I'd much rather to drive them away than to have to poison or trap them but either way they're not living in my house if I have anything (and I do) so say about it!
It's a shame because they are kind of cute and what they can do is impressive, if only they'd evolved sufficient to the point where they took care of their own business like cats. Again, the mice that is ... there's no hope for many of my friends in that department.
But, in both cases, it's all about the same thing, asserting degrees of male dominance.
I recently watch a mouse face off a cat who wanted to play tag with it. So they have ***** too for something so small.
I'm kind of fascinated by how the mice got and get in there?
I know they can jump as high as a foot - that's about 3 times their actual length or the equivalent of 18' for us - or climb up smooth, vertical surfaces. How do they get into the fairing? It can't be up the forks. And what happens when you start it up, do you end up with a rain of mices scurrying out?
I guess you need to deal with it in case a female starts to nest and have pups there.
The factory must take action about this ... we obvious need a Willie G Mouse Trap in the catalogue too!
