local dealer is offering a deal on fork color change. so i would like to see pics of Road glide with black cowbells with black forks and black cowbells and chrome forks. i am torn on which way to go.
Black on black. Not sure what deal HD is offering but you have all winter to take your front end apart and have your stock parts powdercoated. It cost me about $70 to have both forks and sliders powdercoated. Dont get raped by the ridiculous new parts and labor cost from HD for such a simple job.
^ Cant edit my post above but it should read both fork sliders and cowbells.
Also, if you decide to go chrome, use one of the good Exchange options from ***** Shiny, Impress Plating, etc. doing the work yourself will again save you a ton of money as compare to new parts and labor from HD.

Mine are Black Quartz. Had them color matched. Can't really see it in pics. But in person you see it right away. Love the look of black over chrome. Just ordered the contrast agitator wheels and black and stainless rotors. Gonna be a long winter.
