I bought a 06 night train efi in the spring. Looking to customize it some this winter. Have about $1000 to spend. And probably cant ride until april again. It already has V&H pipes that im happy with. Not looking for anything specific. Could be performance or cosmetic. Bike had 1600 miles when I bought now has 2700. I mostly cruise around town and Im not a fan of bags or windshields. Lets hear some suggestions thanks guys.
Intake and a PowerVision if the bike hasn't got Stage I yet? Would still leave you some $ for other stuff.
If you still have to original tyres on the bike, I would replace those first on a 10-year-old bike with only 1,600 miles when you bought it.
Glad you are putting more miles on it and use it for it's intended purpose: having fun
daddyknuck I love the seat wish I didn't have to tug the old lady around on the back. Also I planned on new tires. I had a bunch of small issues when I bought it due to never being ridden. But I think I got it all worked out. Just stuff like the shifter would stick from not being used. I also need to repaint the front fender.

Suction cup p-pad and quick release sissy-bar might work. If you lower it like I did, she isn't going to ride as much.
Just from the title on your post I was going to say rear-end. I really like the looks of the Heartland kits but after seeing your bike it probably doesn't need one? I really appreciate what you've already done to it!
EDIT: After looking again and thinking real hard maybe the air cleaner... I had a hypercharger on my blue bike and always loved watching the flappers flap around...(since I was a kid, lol) and I think it would fit your hot-rod bobber style look and you'd still have $800 left over for some new tires for your car! LOL
