Night train purchasing advice
Hello all. I am currently riding a 2007 1200C sportster. I've got a lead on a night train that I am considering trading up for. I wanted to create a post looking for some advice on anything specific I should be looking out for on the night train. It is a 2005 with about 11k miles. What would be a fair price for this bike? It has some aftermarket upgrades, but nothing crazy. And from what i've seen in the past they don't really ad to the value anyways. Any advice is great appreciated. Thanks.

Honestly if your willing to pay 10K for a bike thats 7 years old, just pay 16K for a brand new one, you get the 103" motor, a 2 year warrenty, and all of the refinements of 7 years of harley evolution and improments. The new blackline looks just like the train cept it has a bobbed rear fender and narrow rear. I've ridden and they ride great.

NADA.com w/ perf exhaust - 10,830 average retail
2 into 1 exhaust - possible high-flow air and ECM.
Looks like it is in good/great condition.
Minor upgrades - pegs, LePera seat. It is 5 speed and narrow tire if that matters.
Relatively low mileage for that year bike.
$10k would be a decent price.

Yeah, I'd say nine. I paid just about 9K for mine but It had the inverted front end on it and that was a huge selling point for me. Iv'e seens that places ads, they always have a few bikes rolling through. Bellingham right?
Or just get a new one, I hear the 2012 Night Train's are flying off the shelves. Or better yet, if your going to drop 16K on a new one, just pony up 30K for a custom built chopper, you can get a 114, or a 117 TP in it! Only another 14K.

Obviously 9k would be a good price but 10k for a bike in good to excellent condition is not bad.
ADD after market accessories you know you will add... labor...
The $16k for a new turns into more like $18k by the time you are said and done. ADD after market accessories... labor...
Bike looks decent - 9k would be nice - just trying to be realistic.
