Just spent about 6 hrs mounting a new American elite tire on the Electra glide"s front wheel. First time using this tire and it had to be the toughest one I ever worked with in over 40 years. These must be harder rubber than the d402"s.

You went back to using the spring style? Yeah that was something I was contemplating on doing over the winter so I wouldn't have to worry about air lines and anymore.

500 mile oil change on the new S&S motor. I decided to go with conventional oil for another 500 miles. I will change it again at 1,000 miles at which time I expect to move to Amsoil.
