The shorter one has better reinforcement at the rear wheel panel and the safety bar is solid.
My taller one also has the solid safety bar. The drop out panel isn't great. It flexes to much and moves around. I secured it with 4 self tapping screws and that fixed it. Just pull them out when I need to remove the panel.
mine goes to 30 then down to 26 1/2 when set in the lock position is great for me being 6'1 and able to put both my bikes on custom sportster need to and short 1x4 to clear frame sits real low. Has been good no issues stable. Ps took wheels off mine no need for moving and its sits on carpet too Also bought HB cradle for front lot easier to use. Mine was the one advertised for 299.99 on sale most places. Luck. Wild Bill

I about pulled the trigger on this lift back a couple months ago and didn't. Then last week my dad ran across this lift on a yard sale site the other day with the locking chock for $200. It sure makes life easier and seems to be a great lift. A friend of ours bought one the day I backed out, and he has a Yamaha midnight venture, he said th only issue he has is the wheel chock that comes with it doesn't make it easy to get off and strap it by yourself. This is next on my list.
Only have one model, was missing all four of the table nuts. After a trip to the hardware store all is good. Didn't bottom out bought the better tire chock drilled holes bolted on. Will let you know how it goes. Thank all of you for your input.
never really measured how high it goes, but have had mine for about 5 years and it sure beats being bent over on the floor while working on your bike.
just recently did a cam swap and the HF lift was worth every penny.
The main reason I got mine was so I could store the mc up off the floor during the winter. This way my work van still fits in the garage. Last week I did a three hole fluid. I had to drop the entire air ride system to access the tranny plug. At my age I wouldn't have tried it without the lift table.
The Harbor Freight lifts shown on their page today are both hydraulic hand pumps. The Auto lift that was tagged earlier is air. Anyone got opinions on both ways? I would think the air is better but would a small compressor lift a 2010 Road Glide?
