I was told to put rubber down on the floor of my unheated garage it protects the tires What would happen if i didnt
Maybe to cushion the tires to avoid flat spots. I live in Montana and never had that problem in the past storing in a unheated garage. These days I do store it up on a floor jack.
Her bikes been in for about a month and mine came in last weekend...still no explosion. No awful smells yet...key word yet as mine is getting some top end work soon so hopefully I can keep any fires and **** to a minimum. Oh and getting her to think this was a great idea was so easy I almost feel guilty lol.

1) How far is Granville, NY from Bronxville, NY?
2) Do you think you can convince her that adding 2 more bikes is still a great idea?
I have an unattached unheated garage, been storing my 9 bikes in there
for 36 years, never an issue with rust or anything else.
I thrown an old bed sheet over them, and change the battery tender
from bike to bike every other week or so. If I had to pay storage fees over all those years, I'd be broke
by now!
Your Garage will be fine. Do you think the dealerships storage area is heated?
Here in Butte Montana its heated. They want to charge you to store it though. So if I was to spend $400 + in accessories it could be stored there. I bought 2 HArleys with them this year so I bet if I asked they would do it but I think I would rather tinker with it when I want to during winter.
