If actual videos playing the sounds of the pipes didn’t do it for you, words on a forum won’t work either. If you’re going to just ask what to go with, you’re going to get 30 different answers because slip ons can be installed on all different brands of headers also. It’ll be best to just ride, and in your travels when you hear the sound you’re looking for, ask the person what they’re running. Go to a bike night, rally, and places where you can really get a large sample of different setups.

And even then, it’s like you said earlier, there’s a lot of variables on headpipes, cams, packing, etc that will affect the sound.

You’ll never know until they’re on your bike...

HD Street Cannons sound great as long as you have the stock head pipe with the cat. Without the cat, they are WAYYY to loud (my opinion).

All the ones you mentioned sound great, but sound is subjective. As others have said, go to a bike night (or just hang out at the dealer) and see what you like. Also, how the bike sounds to the person on it is different than how the bike sounds to people you are riding by as most of the sound is behind you.

FWIW, I have a 14 Limited with Cobra Power Port Duels and an older set of SE mufflers.
For me, it is just right.

Good luck.

I've got the SE slip-ons on my 2015 Fat Boy and I really like them. A nice roar when accelerating but otherwise not too loud. It is a personal thing; some might find my set-up too tame, but I like it exactly like this.

I remember when Terminator 2 came out, I loved the sound of that Fatboy and asked my local dealer what I needed to make my King sound that way. " A 30 Million dollar sound stage" was his answer. ****....

Rhineharts on my ‘16 Limited. At first, I thought they were too quiet. But after 10k miles, they sound good. I came from a metric cruiser that was Way Too loud. So I wanted tamer for long hauls. This gives the sound, w/o the bite.

For just a little more than the price of slips these 2 into 1's can be had. I have them and have only seen them on 1 other Harley. I like different AND the sound.

Hahaha, that was the truth back then probably, now you’d just need a really good computer.
