Yes, nice riding weather this weekend. Saw two other bikes while I was out there, wonder if the rest are in storage "winterized"?. Did get a thumbs-up once, which brought a smile to my face.
As long as they don't put down salt, I don't mind riding in colder weather to prevent PMS. Once they salt however, that is it for me until Spring.
A group of us left St. Peters, took 94 to 67 across the Mississippi, up 100 with a quick stop in Grafton, then on up to Harden to Mel's Riverdock to eat, then down to the Golden Eagle ferry back across the Mississippi and back to St. Peters, great day for a ride!
It was 63 yesterday here in St. Louis, and 67 today. I had winterized the bike a couple of weeks ago, but I wasnt about to waste a beautiful, sunny weekend (and I was really hungry)!
Anyone else in the Midwest or the east get to ride today?
I got in a nice ride yesterday, was really nice in my part of Mo. as well.
I had found a really nice (low miles) Wide Glide in Jeff City on CL so I went up there and bought it, took a nice 150 mile ride back home with a steakhouse at Lake of the Ozarks and a few detours along the way to sight-see.
Yep! I was out! 50 and sunny here west of Cleveland. Cold along the long but nice just a little south of it. Saw 4 others out enjoying it. There aren't a lot of days to ride in North East Ohio in December, so just had too.

Nice! There seems to be a wealth of good-quality used bikes in MO.
Your lucky,we had flurries most of the day and the temps were around -2C,I have had my bike parked since the first week of Oct,some guys have all the luck, lol.

Buyer's market right now, for sure. It was a nice WG with under 10,000 miles for the price of a used sportster(little over $4k). It was just what my 19 y.o. had been looking for, should serve him well.
Didn't mean to derail the thread. Sounds like the weather will look a lot different by the end of the week. 37*/19* highs on Thursday.
