A few years ago the bike went into an indy for some work. He had these bars hanging on the wall and thought they would look good on my bike. I thought so as well so he threw them on and gave me a great deal. Since having them, I have no idea who makes them and was hoping someone on here would be able to shed some light ??
I love how wide they are at the base. But i could use some more height and less turn in at the wrist. I'm thinking about swapping them for a set of Carlini's or something similar. I really want a bar with as little turn in at the wrist as possible. I would prefer my knuckles point straight ahead. Can you suggest an ape maybe that offers this style ??
the shape looks similar to the stock ones on my 99 fatboy but in chrome. I have them tilted down a tad but the ones on your bike looks a like they have a little more rise.
I'm honestly not the beach bar type. I'm looking for a set of apes that are 14" have a wide span across the bottom and my wrists are in a natural position. That is my knuckles pointing to the road ahead of me, not out to the side.
Thee are stock bars on my 07 heritage. 2.5" pullback riser so gauges would clear shield. I'm 6'4" and my hands rest just below my shoulder. I rolled the bars forward slightly and it is a very comfortable riding position. Didn't have to change any of my cables with this set-up.
