I'm doing my part as a millenial. Some of my friends ride, some don't. Most of my fiends have college degrees, great jobs, and own homes. Most also have a significant amount of student debt, cell phones, and cable tv all of which significantly reduce disposable income. A Harley isn't a cheap hobby and if it's not at the top of your priorities, it isn't worth the cost.
I am just going to keep riding two wheels and a motor, of some sort or another till I cant ride any more. I'm not going to worry about what the rest of the people in America do, or don't do as far as riding a motorcycle is concerned.
I think you forgot the most important thing...millenials CANNOT be CONSTANTLY connected to their CELL PHONES, texting their friends, and looking at FaceBook, while riding motorcycles!!
you hit it right on the head. a lot of the younger generation have but one interest, that being when the new phone will be coming out.
Never understood why Millennials take the blame for poor parenting.

I see a lot of my generation who won't ride because they would have to get off a bar stool or turn off the TV. Every generation has their turds.

A lot of the older guys on here ride because of shows like Then Came Bronson. Which was 1969. They should make a remake of that show.
I dont agree its because not enough mothers ride. Most of us didnt have mothers that rode. But many of us had fathers that rode. I didnt. And I didnt start riding until my youngest graduated from high school. But there were days I envied Jim Bronson, and thought Someday.
