While I'm doing the engine swap I need to change handlebar bushings.
The bungee cords hold the handlebars up when I have them disconnected from the triple trees.

I was thinking the same thing. Why not put them on the bars to keep from possibly bending the mirror stems.

And please tie her down. Don't want her jumping off the jack and hurting herself. Besides she might like it.

Good luck with the operation. Will be watching from the gallery with a big box of Jujyfruits.

The stems are way strong enough to support the handlebars.

You wouldn't believe the operations I've done to that bike without tiedowns.

Good luck with the operation. Will be watching from the gallery with a big box of Jujyfruits.
Got enough to share???

For y'all no doubt but this Texan prefers it to be at least 80° and am quite happy riding around in 110° temps.
Just lit a fire in the garage so I can do some work out there today.
Hopefully I'll be able to get it up to at least 80° so I can work comfortably!!!!

Got a little bit done between running my errands and carting mother around.

This is the bungee cords in use (riser bolts have been removed).

I actually got it up to almost 75°.
I love my wood burning stove!!!!

Broke free all the lock tabs and then remembered that I have to pull the starter to pull the inner primary....still thinking on which route to go.

What do y'all think???
Remove inner primary (the way I'm leaning) or pull the motor with inner primary in place????
