Hello Grinder Bill, I've seen your posts with the FXDG parts, the post was back in 2011 i think , do you have any up dates/ posts/ pictures of your Disk Glide ? i think these bikes are one of the all time best from H-D was looking for one for sale and then decided to build a tribute FXDG from my 1983 FXWG , its been a long term project thats almost complete, i painted my bike based on pictures from the inter net but i think its not quite right, but i think it has still turned out ok. i just got an original painted dash cover ,and plan on re-doing the paint to match some time in the future. science these pictures were taken I've replaced the cast aluminium wheel with the correct spun aluminum rim, I've also added the drilled brake rotors front and back. this winter i am having the motor re-built and will feature the wrinkle finish coating, hope to put it in next summer, well this is my first post hope you see this / & reply, take care ; Troy

Hello everyone heir is a shot of the original dash & the one i had painted , as you can see their not quite the same color, the upper right is the factory original, and the bottom left is the one i had painted, not quite as dark..but i like the lighter color any way...

, this week i bought steal braided oil line, i am also adding an oil cooler so i got extra line to go from the cooler to the oil tank re-turn....

Reason: as you ca see the OEM exhaust bracket need a little welding & will also be powder coated
