looking dam good. What are your plans for a front fender if any?
Just noticed your question. Weird answering you online five minutes after we got off the phone!
Anyway, for now my plan is to not run one. If I hate it (not having one, that is) after a while, I may re-visit that. But for now at least, she's gonna be naked.
Thanks again for the call. I'll let you know what I find out.
I didn't have a front fender on mine either. After getting caught in the rain a couple of times and having the water from the road channeled up directly in my face, I added one. It is very small but, helps tremendously.

I had the same issue on a Triumph chopper many years ago. It's amazing how the water flying off the front wheel seems to be aimed directly into your face!
Well, that sucks. From what I can see in the pics, you did a great job of getting the threaded bungs installed for where the tank is now.
Yeah, I hate having to do something twice, but maybe I can do it better next time? This will be simple enough. I'm going to get some generic bolts from Lowes, screw them into the holes I have, cut them off, weld them shut, grind it smooth, and it will be like it never happened!
Got a question on something:
I thought I could get away with using my narrow-hub stock front wheel, but I ran into an issue where the brake caliper is just barely hitting the spokes. The question is can I shim the rotor? I probably only need about 1/8", maybe 3/16". My gut says "why not", but my gut also says "really dumb idea". Edit: Talked to Tyler at TC Bros and he said that's the way to go. I'll probably just get a 1/4" spacer and that should do it.
