if this is as much an issue fot Tex as it appers to be? Yet worth the attention I feel it deserves, considering that shiftin gears is as critical as most all relating to proper performance... Evaluating why theres so little clearerence in the first place. As for the way Tex mounted the shift arm was properly set.
Im concerned that moving it to the outside of the arm may add strain as the heim joint will not line up straight.Could have something to do with the foot control spacing moving everything more towards the motor and not leaving the heim joint no room perhaps
