Spent 4 hours yesterday in the c*%t cave fabbing up new mounting brakets to lower my new sissy bar 5". Still have a bit of detail work to do but they are coming along nicely.
Also while primer was drying i cut up and gutted mydonar slipons to try out some tti's i got. Turns out the donars are 3" and my screamin eagles are 2.25". So we will see how they work out.
Lots of test fitting.
Looks much better lower.

Got any pic or sketch of what you have in mind? I'm curious as to what you'll create... I too haven't really found one I like. But in my case it's primarily because I find the filters wayyyy too big and I am trying to avoid running a hose line down to the ground.
Got some more done, will do pin stripe and the tank decal on Friday (if weather is good), put it together today so I could see if I made the right color choice. No wet sand or compound until next week.
