Work in progress... I started swapping bars on my Heritage last night. I replaced the OEM bars with Flanders 650-08255 Road King/ Fat Boy style. Sitting on my bike and feeling them out, they feel very comfortable.
I plan on finishing the install up during the week and riding this weekend. I'll report back on how they do.
My Sport has some chrome Z bars I picked up at the bike swap for like $20...tallest I can go without swapping cables.
My shovel has some bullhorn pullbacks that I think I paid like $10 for also at the swap. If I see something I like and the price is right, I'll pick it up and make it fit.
I put Drag Specialties bars on mine. They're about 98% the exact same as the stock bars, but they have 12.5 inches of pullback, while the stocker had 11. I did this because I was running a Le Pera Bare Bones Solo at the time and it sat me back a bit further than I liked. Plus, these are 1.25 inches thick as opposed to the 1-inch stock.
Stock Heritage bars with 2.5 pullback risers. Plenty of rise and spread. comfortable riding position. Although, I would like internal wiring to neaten things up a bit.
