Im running a set of those cyco tensioner shoes. Havent had them on long enough to worry about an inspection to check wear, but they seem to be a quality replacement over the stock tensioners.
Checked the spoken alignment and it was good dead even, no shims needed. Got the camp plates tq ed down and blue loctight and the cam/ crank sprockets TQed with red lock tight. Replace inner and out bearings. Used a cam bearing tool for the inner bearings. Don’t like the shock a bearing goes through with hammering the bearing in.
I did make one oops and pressed the cam sleeve on with out the shim behind it. Crap, no way to press that back off. So i had some old oil out side in 7* weather, soaked the cam in it for a fe minutes and put some heat on the sleeve and it fell right off. That’s not a mistake i’ll Make again.
Getting close now, I’ll not be able to get back to it till next week but it should be done by then. I have a map rom Fuel Moto for the PV and should be close.
Tightening the Cana Dan crank sprocket bolts All finished nd ready to be buttoned up.

I borrowed an auto tune module from a friend to tune the bike with. This PV stuff is fun. I love pulling auto tunes down and comparing what the differences are between sessions. When I got home from one run I heard a new noise and it sounded like primary, so into the primary I go. The compensator nut was loose. Got it all cleaned up and lock tightened back on. Now waiting on a gasket.
