The cams part is what started me to be like wait a minute. I just don't see a need for that unleas you're hot ******* it all the time. I know tire wear can be a little different depending on your style. But... I keep coming back to the cams...it's like buying a performance car with a lot of upgrades. Makes you think what exactly was done with this.
It is a little more than I wanted but the other upgrades I would do. I wish I could actually see it first just cant find anything I like closer. Using Cycle Trader within a 400 mile radius.
He said they have all the paperwork from where the work was done at the local Harley dealer. :/

I wouldn't let the addition of cams scare me off. They're a very common upgrade but the posted RWHP is complete BS. Even more so if a Harley shop tuned it. If all of his paperwork checks out I wouldn't write it off as a possible candidate.
So I am looking at a used 2010 Wide Glide with 12400 miles.
looks fine. you'll be spending a little to undo his bs but, that's your call.
i wouldn't buy a molested bike. i want as close to stock as possible. 8.5 for a 2010 with those miles is high. the mods are worthless. they take away for the values, they don't add.
If your "spidey senses" are tingling...it's a pass. Shop for something within reach. This way you can see, touch/feel, test & assess...IMO.
I see you say it and i think this is what I am feeling. Something is just making the hairs on my neck stand up. There is another bike that's alot closer, 2015 WG that has about 3500 at a dealer for $9500. Looks too be bone stock.

Most guys I know who build their bikes like to use that power. Some of those guys beat the hell out of their bikes. I would pass on any bike with a lot of motor work. Get your self a bike with stage one and a tune then you can do what you want with it. Theres a ton of them out there in that same price range.
