hello once again all. I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for some pipes. I just got a 48 and I want to change out the pipes to get a nicer sounding growl out of it. As well as an improvement on performance as well (if that's possible to do through pipes). Also a bit of a new riders so any modification advise or must haves for bikes that I don't know about would be greatly appreciated as well.
-thanks
My bro just put these on his 48, they are really loud but sound great. I went with Bassani's and we are both using DK Customs Thunder Torque Inserts. I'll never use an exhaust without them, they make a big difference in sound and performance.
In that equation, if you change the torque by a given factor, the power changes by the same factor. They don't move independently, they move together, and by the same percentage. That's true at any rpm, or as an average over any rpm range. They're mathematically tied together, by definition.
Sure, you're getting a bigger gain in absolute terms over that range, because the numerical values of the torque are bigger over that range. But as a percentage, the gains track each other.
