Just got a Yuasa battery to replace the original in a 14 Super Glide Custom. The last few starts last year were getting a little strained. The bike is always plugged into the tender when parked in the garage. So I guess 4 riding seasons is not too bad.
Amazon says it will not fit my bike, but it is the exact size of the factory original. The battery came charged. I installed this afternoon and it fit like a glove.
I installed the Memphis Shades headlamp relocate kit. I wanted the light to be flush in the fairing. While there, I swapped out the chrome ring around the light with a black one. To be honest, it would have been helpful to have instructions because the mt. block has multiple holes that you have figure out which combo put the light in the correct position. Anyway, looks better. The bad news is that theres now a gap around the light that I dont like the look of. So now I have to find something to stuff around the light bucket on the inside of the fairing.
Will that work on a LRS with the stock fairing?
Does anybody know of any other way to move the light forward a bit?
Wow, I couldn't imagine going that long without going for a ride.
I hear you. I also like to take her out year round, as long as the temp is above 50. I had one nice day at the end of January but nothing since. Spring is coming, I hope.
