Default New Battery Time

Just got a Yuasa battery to replace the original in a 14 Super Glide Custom. The last few starts last year were getting a little strained. The bike is always plugged into the tender when parked in the garage. So I guess 4 riding seasons is not too bad.

Amazon Amazon

Amazon says it will not fit my bike, but it is the exact size of the factory original. The battery came charged. I installed this afternoon and it fit like a glove.

Anyway, looks better. The bad news is that there’s now a gap around the light that I don’t like the look of. So now I have to find something to stuff around the light bucket on the inside of the fairing.

Will that work on a LRS with the stock fairing?

Does anybody know of any other way to move the light forward a bit?

The stock LRS setback looks weird to me.

I hear you. I also like to take her out year round, as long as the temp is above 50. I had one nice day at the end of January but nothing since. Spring is coming, I hope.

Honestly, I don’t know. The new block has a lot of different holes you can try.

I ordered a chrome rear 70T pulley and a chrome bolt set. I'm collecting for the next round before I even have this round done.

Which saddlebags are those? And how are they holding up? Been looking into getting a set for my '14 Fat Bob as well.
