Every *** is different. Try out every seat that people will let you sit on.
Basics are:
Width, generally the wider the more support.
Shape, the more it fits your ***, the longer you can ride.
Firmness, some like it, some like it soft. Figure out what you like.
Position, how how from controls, feet, hands, etc.
material, leather is more forgiving, but if your riding atgatt, it might not matter.
Specialty considerations, include air hawk, gel, tufted, smooth, sheep skin, beads.

It took me three seats trial and error, finally did the Harley demo seats and tried other rider seats. Finally found the and one that good for 700 mile days, three weeks on the road. But what works for me is probably no goog for you. I tried mustang touring, Harley Cvo, mean street mods, all sucked big time after an hour.

For me it was wide width, shape that is narrow in front, wide and shaped under my ***, cushy, leather and on week + trips, with a sheepskin.

Neither of the three mentioned above did the trick.
Are you looking for an off the shelf seat that fits the bill, or are you willing to go custom?
Cause these guys will make a seat to your specs, and it will be perfect. But they are REALLY proud of their seats. And the prices are reflected.

I have a Corbin butt, but their customer service sucks. I will never buy another new one from them, but am very happy with the used one I got off the for sale section.
All the Iron butt guys love their day long seats if ya can stand the looks...

I put a 14 CVO RK seat on my regular RK, sits down and back just like you say you want.

After trying a Mustang solo, and a used Corbin, I like the Corbin, but it was hard
as a rock! I bought it off Ebay cheap just to see if it fit me and the bike.
The Mustang was too wide for me, and actually cut off the circulation to my left leg.
I had to pull over a few times on the test ride to get the blood flowing again.

Ended up ordering a new custom heated Corbin close solo, made to my specs using softer
foam than the normally use. Called the FL store to order, the CA store SUCKS!
That seat worked out great, MUCH softer than the other Corbin I bought.
It was comfortable right out of the box, no break in required.
Sold the Mustang and the other Corbin for what I paid for them.
This technique let me try some seats out, and let me decide on which was the best for me.

Take a look at the Maverick. It is the like the Daddy long legs but with thinner passenger seat.

I love mine, I also added the circulator pad, it really helps especially when it’s hotter

Specifically, which Danny Gray seat are you describing?
