Dont you idiots know that those reflectors on your bike keep it DOT complaint and road legal? You can actually get pulled over by a cop that knows these laws and get ticketed for not having those on. But it's rarely enforced. Does it really bother you that much since it looks ugly.
If you get into an accident the other driver has a legit reason on why they didn't see you. Yes, those tiny stupid looking reflectors can be the reason you lose your case or even your life.
You guys are such rebels.
Yup, you nailed it, I'm an idiot because I customized my bike the way that I wanted too, whether anybody else likes it or not. Have a heck of a nice day from one of the Idiots here on HDF.

Hey, I didn't mean to hurt anyone, but I will lump those "PEOPLE" as such because something as asinine as a reflector really bothers them because their bike doesn't look cool. Then they take the extra time to make their bike even more unseen.
You're right some states do not require reflectors, but you know do whatever you like. Just dont be that guy in the forum venting that they got into a wreck because they didn't see you and your bike is all blacked out or you took the extra effort taking out all of the safety stuff from your bike to keep you safe.
You people will comply with the safety expectations of the safety ***** on this site. You cannot escape. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

I am a BIG believer in doing what you will to your bike - so reflectors on or off - more power to ya! I pass no judgements!
I will only add - and I am a road (pedal) biker as well and in many states you can and will be held liable for any damages incurred in an accident if you remove your reflectors. And in some cases - the driver has been held not liable for damages to a biker or their gear if they hit one who willingly removed their reflectors. Dontchya just love our litigious society?

I'm an optometrist. Those reflectors don't make any difference during the daytime. I rarely ride at night. I didn't have to take my reflectors off, because they are tastefully integrated into my '03. Not a tacky add on like the new bikes. If I buy a new bike, I will take them off, and ride like I'm invisible.
Which I do now. Because I have news for you. There are plenty of people driving who can't see ****, no matter what time of day. Or how lit up you are.
Last time I checked this was still a free country people have the right to do what they want.
They may get in trouble but life goes on...
A side note those reflectors were not always required much less installed
