I'm new to Trigliding, purchased a new 2018 in Early Feb, next weekend 12" of snow.
I've been riding for around 45 years and legs are not like they used to be. Sold Ultra to get this one.
We did rent a 17 for the Dragons tail last March, we liked it and decided it was the way to go.
Now, I don't think I will go crazy on the trike but I need some help on deciding what to do with the audio system. I am not a fan of hogtunes so let's leave that out as an option. I hope some of you can share what you have done with the speakers and what amp you might recommend.
I will get the lift kit, sounds like a positive to me. I added Rinehart 4" slip-on mufflers, sounds nice.
I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone
Thanks
Bill
Congrats on your new ride!
Wish I could help you with your audio system question. We've always just used the stock...which we don't use that much.
There is an entire section on this forum on audio, and the few times I've been there I've seen a lot of activity and a lot of very strong opinions.
Installed DK Comfort lift, Wind Deflectors, & Floor Board Extensions a few weekends ago. 50 degrees went for a 70 mile ride through the foot hills to feel the difference. And what a difference, this is a must do if you own a trike. The trike responded to the changes in the road surface with a soft yet positive aggression that eased the harsh wig wag pounding I felt from the stock suspension. Another H-D 2 wheel rider passed me in the twistys, yet I was very comfortable keeping his pace.
Also, I received and installed the helmet locks from Lidlox.
