Default Help me identify this seat

Alright, I've spent a few hours trying to figure this seat out and I've given up and need the help of all of you internet experts.

This seat came on my 2007 FXDB. I recently upgraded to a Saddlemen and I'm trying to sell this one, but I'm not 100% sure I've identified it properly and I don't want to sell someone something that doesn't work. I thought I had it figured out when I found this seat on eBay . I found a few more using the same part number and they look IDENTICAL to my seat..same stitching and everything. Can't find a single difference. EXCEPT the bottom looks different.

EDIT: I found this seat that has an identical bottom aside from the big ugly cut out. Says it's for 04-05 which I thought had a more unique setup anyway. Think I'm getting there.

Is it possible that it's the same seat? Or is it a different seat and mine has a part number I just can't find? Please help!

Your Pic above is of a 2004-05 OEM Seat Pan...like you thought. Might be a Wideglide model, which might be a little longer (they were on the 96-2003 seats).

Maybe you could run a tape measure from the front metal tongue back to the hole in the rear bracket. I have some 04-05 seats I could measure to confirm.

Below is a 06-later 2up seat pan

Thanks so much for the help man. All the seats I've found that look like this are wide glide or low rider models so that would make sense. I ran a tape from the front of the front metal tongue to the hole in the back and it's basically exactly 30".

Just out of curiosity, if this seat hasn't been altered at all and it is for an 04-05 how come it would fit my 07 but a normal 07 seat wouldn't fit an 05? Aside from a slight movement in the seat when I would sit on it it seemed like it fit just fine...

Thanks again for the help, really don't want to sell someone something they can't use.

Ok...That's a 2004-05 "Wide Glide" Seat

I measured the Super Glide seats I have and they were shorter, but also I noticed that the "molded in" #s to hold-down bracket spacing could be used as an easy visual reference.

Here's your seat spacing below ...I'll post a photo later of mine
