Dan, we've been fighting this lawn for 30 years and found some decent looking artificial to replace some of it with and xeriscape the rest. It's a large corner lot, no sprinkler system.

So putting down some topsoil and need seed that is good for.your area not work?

Huh. My side yard sucks. I put down two triaxles of topsoil and the grass is nice but not thick. The rest of my yard, no clue what it is, is a vine type of grass and it chokes out weeds. Real thick. I can't put edging around anything cause it goes around or underneath it. But no weeds!
