Anyone know if there is a "trick" to running a 10" rotor on a 90's 21" wideglide front wheel - I want to run a 21" I took off a early 90's bike on my 70's FLH frontend - need the 10" rotor setup for my banana calip - about ready to buy a blank and machine a rotor out of stainless - figured I see if anyone has done this before
Here's my FXWG front hub for 10" rotors. Does it look like yours? The rotors dont register on the hub, the bolts are countersunk into the rotors so no doubt there would be some axial runout

Typical dual flange hub, generally relaced to a 21" wheel on an FXWG...
generally found with the Small Caliper dual 10" like on a SuperGlide/Sportster.
If ya try to put a Banana caliper onto a 21" with that hub... I find the Spokes hit the Caliper..
YMMV... Try it and see I guess
hmmm - my plan was to try using a 1990's 21 single flange - then machine a 10" rotor that fits the newer 21" hub and space the rotor for the banana - I have a 21" narrowglide with banana on my 77 shovel - clears the spokes with the arrow glide - close though - but clears by a few mm's
Look xlosely at the "narrowglide" Hub... Much thinner... The Problem is a Wide Hub reaching a long way out to the 21" rim... The angle dictates the clearance for the Caliper...
I personally have Not gotten it... but... was ideed using an old Dual Flange Hub..
Gonna need to mock it up looks like...
Worst tat can happen, ya gotta change to a Different Caliper... maybe one that don't Rattle
BTW That narrowglide FE pictured is one of the One year only 1973 Sportster/SuperGlide Kayabas for a Banana...
Apparently the Reflector bosses removed by hand [the way I do it] ... good Job!!! But, If I had that frontend today... I would keep it stock!!!

I'll try the 19" wideglide dual flange spoke wheel I have with the banana this weekend - odd setup but you can lace a 19" drop center to a wide glide dual flange hub by pulling the spokes all the way through on a close to parallel angle - lets see if that clears

Good Plan..
I have a 19" dual flange hub laced up right now... I'll try to remember to check clearance later today!!
