Glad you are happy. That's all that matters.

Definitely not for me.

Congrats, the way it sounds you settled for something cheaper. Hopefully that was not the case and you really wanted the Indian. If not you may take a bath on it in a few months. Good luck and ride safe.

OP~ congrats on the Polaris product.

Might want to hang on to your SG, just for local hopping around. Keep the PP for longer

distance touring as it may become "cantankerous" in tight city traffic areas. This is what I found, years ago when I had both bikes at the same time. Eventually, I sold the touring rig and kept my SG for 21 years. Never shoulda sold it either. (My 2016 just doesn't have the build quality that my 1995 had.)

Not so much settling for something cheaper... Frankly, think I scored big time, but that is just me. Been lusting after the Springfield ever since they were first introduced. If there is something not to love about this bike, please, by all means enlighten me.

Took advantage of the last remaining 2017 in their inventory and got what I believe to be a fine bike at a great price. Nothing wrong with paying $25K for a Road King but, a Springfield for $5K less sounds allright with me. Time and miles will tell... and so will I, one way or the other.

I would miss this Forum, one of the finest group of folks ever encountered on the internet, when I transition to "non" Harley owner status upon the sale of my Dyna SG except that I'm not going away {competely}. I will of course continue to read and enjoy, here abouts, with perhaps an occasional {hopefully} revelent post.

In the meantime expect an update once I get a few miles on the new ride and if anyone is interested in one fine, very well equipped Dyna, shoot me a PM or just watch for the post on Craigslist AZ.

Yeeee haaah!!!

Congrats. Indian makes a great bike. I don't care for the styling of the Springfield but that's a personal choice. I really like the Chieftain Elite and should have pulled the trigger. Now they are all gone (they only made 340 of them). From all the bagger reviews I've seen, the Indian has superior electronics and handling but gets rated lower than the Harley because of excessive heat from the engine. Probably a way to fix that. Enjoy.

Excellent. To me doesn't matter what anyone rides. Be safe and respect others is the main issue.
