2013 flhtcu
Finally finished quite a few projects I've been working on. new progressive 430 suspension (lowering it an inch in the rear). Made a bracket for the radio antenna relocation, hooked up the kuryakyn run/turn/brake controller to the lights and tourpack. Removed the rubbers from the bumpers (like the old school look), did the LED conversion on the gauges (tac/speedo still out), removed the rear speakers from tourpack and ran them to the 2014 extended saddlebags recently installed, new radio (aquatic) and speakers all around. Ya, been busy as hell, but considering I can't ride right now...may as well get as much done as possible.
Accomplished three things today. I put on 9" curved Long Rides Shield to help with the buffeting and it does the job. I finally put on my Progressive 444, 13.5 inch rear suspension that really improves the ride over the stock air shocks. The longest thing time wise was putting on the quick disconnect setup on my 2000 EG. More parts than needed and no instructions, just what I could find on ebay, made for a long and tedious installation. The kit was off of ebay and the quality looks good and the price definitely beats what my dealer wants for the kit. $87 for the tourpac mount, the rear docking kit and the sissy bar kit.
Later this week I'll be picking up a 2012 Sportser 1200 Custom with 9,000 miles on the clock. Another addition to the stable but will be getting rid of a Honda to make room for it.
Keep riding!

It's a Honda NC700X. Nice bike, great gas mileage, but the opportunity to get this Custom with the big front tire, some add ons and a good price closed the deal for me.

The 700 is a great commuter, nicer than my CB500X, but neither are equal to that 1200. Enjoy the new scoot. tp
