Dunno, but both those bootz sound bad azz. Like two heavyweight champs from the 5 boroughs.... They will fit nicely with the impending Bronx bikes :/

I bought the Harley Lynx boots, which I believe are relabeled Bates Escalantes. They look similar to the Boxbury, but are waterproof. And have speed laces on top. I liked them, but they get hot, and after a few years the ankle cup folds, digging in to my ankle and I have to manually push it out. So I only wear that boot in the rain.

Usually I wear my Redwing work boots which don’t have a zipper, but come on and off just as fast with the speed laces on top. That boot is super comfortable, lasts forever, and made in USA. When the original soles wore out, I had a shoemaker replace it with a heavy, Vibram lug. I have Lynco 405 insoles. I waterproofed them with Snoseal. So I have a comfortable, waterproof, made in USA boot with great traction and a manly broken in look.
These aren't mine but they look nice.

You won't be disappointed with the Riddick's. I've had a pair for a year now. I don't know if the zipper vent does anything or not. When it's hot it's hot. They are warm in cooler weather riding with a good sock. Very comfortable all day

Just a follow up to anyone looking for a lightweight breathable boot. After buying the Riddicks, I realized they weren't really what I was looking for,
so I tried the bates6608 tactical boots, and they are exactly what I wanted. Very light, and you can feel air moving through them at highway speeds.

i wound up finding a great deal on some riddicks earlier today, so based on the feedback i got here, and the many positive reviews on amazon, i went for it.

I bought the Bates Bomber boots. All material US made and manufactured in the US. Vibram soled, reinforced shift peg contact area and soft armor in the surround area. Love them.

Just put my Riddicks in the classified section under "gear", if anyone is interested.
