Thanks, actually the green is way better in person. Has a lot of gold flake so shines like crazy in the sun. That's a Pelican box that I use for bigger stuff and weekend trips. Usually have a box half that size. They interchange quite quickly.
I said in another thread I probably get out today and I did. A little chilly seeing it is only 37* but the sun is out. I guess 47 miles is better than 0 miles...
I finally got the rear on and am quite happy with the look. My wife rides as well and has a Ducati Multistrada.
She has informed me that this sportster sounds irritating and is way too loud. I kind of agree. It is way louder than my KTM 990 adventure which is my main bike.
So I guess I will look into a 2 into 1 Supertrapp.
Here are a few more pics with 19" wheels front and back and a picture of the bike as it looked in January when I bought it.

Reason: Added a better "Finish" photo.
i ended up putting the screamin eagle II mufflers back on that i got from cvaria, they just sound better than the wyatt gatling ones i had and not as loud. Also put on my sportster derby cover

Please let me know how the Supertrapp 2-1 thing goes. I'm looking for a little quieter pipes also.

they do sound damn good. especially when you hop on them.

yeah its hard to argue with it, they definitely nailed the right sound when they made them. Id like to get a cleaner set if i could find some. Interestingly, the wyatt gatling are super similar with a small difference: the lollypop in the muffle is smaller on the wyatt gatling, i wonder if thats why theyre louder/shaper sounding to the ear. The SEII are just smoother and more pleasing to listen to.

you could get them rechromed or blasted and kera coated.
After reading Leftcoast883 thread where he was having similar sounds coming from his motor and found damage to his front cylinder, i decided to endoscope mine to be sure (getting a knocking/loose noise at idle). Lucky for me, the cylinder walls appear to be fine, no scoring or any damage that i could see. Bike is definitely running rich, so ill be swapping jets out soon. Still will have to tare into the motor to replace the tappets which seem to be causing the noise im experiencing.
