Looking for ideas to fill in / cover up holes in my fairing where stock mirrors were located. I installed taller bars which made my stock street glide mirrors useless. installed mirrors on the controls and now I am needing ideas on the holes left from the stock mirrors.
Maybe silicone nipples? But then, if they look too real, you may get distracted while riding... so never mind.
Thanks for the link. Now a couple of questions. Are the lights you put in LEDs? If so did you need to put resistors in to prevent fast blinking?
The boss likes the idea that she can see the blinkers and I like the idea of greater viability so this is gonna happen.
I want to wire up and put a low profile sleek turn signal there.. Still considering some options. It would serve the same purpose and effect of signals on cagers' rear view mirrors. Just looking for the right look to incorporate to the style of the fairing..
I have a 15 Street glide with 12" Yaffes, I plugged my holes with Harley head light medallions part # 67668-05. They are the bar and shield. They are on older head lights. I have a 06 Fatboy also and it's the medallion that's on the headlight. They cost 10.25 a piece. Fit over holes on Rushmore bikes perfect. Don't know if pre Rushmore holes are the same. By far one of the best and certainly one of the cheapest mods I've done on a Harley.

how did you hold them on, is there a screw behind it or did you adhesive it somehow?

I plugged the holes with epoxy putty and got some black trim paint at the auto parts store, matched the stock black satin finish almost perfectly, you really really have to look hard to tell. Way better than a plug imo
