To some of us or maybe most of us it sure seems like magic!
I guess auto-tune was not the right nomenclature for what you were using to tune the bike, but when the TTS was working to read the afr and then putting the correct afr in the block (rpm/throttle position) where you were operating the bike it was a lot like what is referred to as auto-tune on PV. I do remember adjustments you had to make before that step and after you filled all the blocks in the operating range you still had to set the timing, so automatic it's not, but it does a great job of tuning.
IMHO anyone trying to say they have an Auto tuner for an HD engine should be shot. Its purely just salesman talk and nothing is further from the truth. You have to look at the data your gather and step in if something does look right. The tuning aid's we have are just that tuning aids. For your typical Stage 1 builds they will do 90% of the work for you but you still must check things and follow the instructions. Setting things up prior to using is a big deal. I hope that you've been out putting miles on your bike and enjoying it.
They also said they got better results removing the DB killers from the MK-45's.
I don't get it.
I don't either. With my setup there is a VERY noticeable reduction in torque when not running the db reducers. Also this was confirmed from Jamie at FM. But i can tell it when I ride. Havent had it dynoed yet, so no numbers to show how much.
Wes said he was gonna work on it tomorrow too... Pretty substantial gains over what I had. Not too worried about the differences. Just hoping for a good tune that runs a lot better.

I don't understand what you don't get.. After all Jamie mentioned that these motors in way differently than TC. They are way more exhaust sensitive.
Can anyone explain why my torque at 2500 is only 90 (10 less than stock header)? Seems odd to me...
Thanks.
It’s the open mufflers. If they would have started the run @ 1500 rpm with the dB Killers in you would have crossed the 100 ft/lb line at around 2300 rpm.
