Be interesting what the top of your old pistons look like, include mileage, and if whether or not you were running external breathers.

Ya that! One of these days we'll find out if the external breather thingy is fact or fiction!!

Senior and ‘14, box stock on the breather but I do plan on posting pictures along the way. Motor has 20k on it now.

Well I started the disassembly for the 110. No big surprises yet but I wanted to post a picture of the exhaust bracket on the side of the trans. I remember reading a post to check the bolts on the bracket if you have a leak in that area. Sure enough, I was able to take them out by hand. Thanks to Beary for the heads up on this!!

110 conversion all done but the final tune. Going to wait to put some more miles on it before cracking the throttle hard. No suprises on the build, rocker boxes nice and clean




Pistons and cylinders also look great, nice crosshatch on the bores still.









Time to put some miles on the beast and enjoy.

It looks awesome! Congratulations and here's hoping for great riding weather to road-test that new animal.

Those stock heads are pretty heavily carbon-laden for 20K miles. External breather or stock setup with vented gases back into the throttle-body?

Inquiring minds want to know.
