Ride what you have.

There are still guys riding FOUR SPEED Hog's coast to coast. 5-speed is just fine. I have an '05, no complaints, no regrets.

More gears is always good, but for for cruising, 5 is fine, so don't get butt hurt.

If you are really down about it, then trade her in, get a new bike, and the next owner will ride your 5-speed DYNA to hell and back.

Sometimes...I wonder about some of you guys.....ride the damn thing and QUIT B1TCH'N.

Damn.

Go online and look at all of the stats on both bikes if you don't believe it.
seriously - if the changes are "very radical" then it should be easy for you to tell me what they are? yet you can't ... I've told you why I bought an 05 rather than an 06 and that I understood the major differences - front end and 6 speed. If you really think that the rest is that much different - then you're just guzzling the HD marketing cool aid. Keep telling yourself how great your bike is. If you don't give a **** about my opinion, you can imagine how I feel about yours.

If I have a bug up my *** about anything ( and I don't) it's that I bought a HD in the first place. Nothing to do with the make, model or year. It's an overpriced hunk of metal that was purchased from a manufacturer/distributorship that takes every opportunity they can to f*ck their customers who continue to come back and take it. Learned my lesson on that one. It will be my last HD, and based on the direction that HD sales are going, I'm not the only one.

BTW - undisputable is not a word ... look it up, maybe you'll find it next to the list of radical changes.

2005 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider FXDL

Close your eyes and think of a rebel Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle. Odds are good this one instantly comes to mind. The Dyna Wide GlideŽ. It’s pure custom, through and through. The factory ape hangers are a throwback to the tricked-out choppers of the ’70s. Grab hold and the road to Nowheresville calls your name. You’ll ride laid back on a custom stepped seat, boots stretched out to the forward foot controls. Chromed sissy bar and backrest. There’s a new Profile Laced wheel option. You also get staggered shorty duals, a stretched tank with flames and 3-D Bar and Shield emblem, plus a restyled console. All would be for naught without the right rumble. The Twin Cam 88Ž engine, in carb or EFI, is everything you’d expect and more. Fire it up, then close your eyes and listen. Now what comes to mind?

2006 Harley-Davidson FXDLI Dyna Low Rider

This year, it gets 49mm forks, new stylized low-profile suspension and cast wheels. The low-slung custom seat is less than 26" high, so it’s easy to put boots on pavement.
