Thank old t sport. It was alot of fun. I got to meet a couple of great guys. Hopefully made dome friends. It is a great way to get together and ride. Uncle Bo has it now. Maybe pm him and see what the plan is next. I think everyone works so I don't think it will be moving until next weekend. Live to ride

Here's a summary of the Mascot's recent travels in Canada:

Oct. 04-2011 Hinton --> Edson 84 km (Silver fox)
Oct. 04-2011 Edson --> Leduc 229 km (HOTLAP)
Oct. 08-2011 Leduc --> Calgary 255 km (zeus33)
Oct. 09-2011 Calgary --> Hanna 185 km (zeus33)
Oct. 09-2011 Hanna --> Saskatoon 392 km (Shredding rubber)
Oct. 10-2011 Saskatoon --> Yorkton 335 km (Shredding rubber)
Oct. 10-2011 Yorkton --> Dauphin 173 km (uncle bo)

makes 1653 km in 1 week. Great job, guys!

Next stage Dauphin --> Portage la Prairie --> Winnipeg is scheduled for next weekend.

I hope we will be able to let it travel the Northern Great Lakes route towards Toronto, otherwise we have to consider a detour through the USA (ND, MN, WI, IL, IN, and MI).

Any thoughts from your side on how to handle this, is much appreciated.

Cheers,

This is awesome! I'm in Ottawa and I would love to chip in if it makes it this far East. I am actually in Winnipeg on business on the 24-25th, but I don;t think it would be in the spirit of the thing to have the mascot take a plane back to Ottawa...

Thanks for chiming in, cthagreekgod.

No need to cheat on the rules. In stead of flying, buy a one way ticket on the plane, rent a H-D in Winnipeg and ride it to Ottawa, carrying the Mascot in your luggage. This is a change out of 1000 I'd say!

Edit: I added your marker to the map

Cheers,

Since it's looking like we won't be able to get the Mascot to Ottawa by the 21st why don't we start looking at ways to get it moving south from Winnipeg so that it can get to warmer climates before the dreaded white stuff flies up here.

For anyone on here that's in the area of Big Moose HD I'll be down on the 22nd for the party at Bentley's. Was hoping that I'd have been bringing the mascot with me but it's not looking good for this year.

cthagreekgod I'm south of Ottawa in Greely. What area are you in?

Things are looking better..... I get back home on Saturday night from Lake St.Martin, hopefully the Mascot is still in Manitoba. Weather looks good for a trip to the Peg on Sunday.

Weather is looking good for this weekend, at least no snow or rain so I hope to meet with Uncle Bo on Saturday and bring it into Winnipeg. We getting to borrowed time here as the temperature is dropping daily and soon we will need snowmobiles. What happens in the winter with the mascot? I would like to see it make it across Canada also and would be honored to carry it as far east as needed to the next rider in the spring. I could get it to Toronto or Ottawa if needed. This is a bad time of year over the north of Lake Superior. If you want it to go south I will try for Grand Forks, North Dakota if someone wants to get it from there.
