I don't think warping would be a problem, if anything the slots may be better at displacing the heat. I just don't like the look as much as I do the drilled holes.
Before you order anything from phat, make dammed sure they are what you want because returns can be a major pita. IMO, the HD ones are very nice and a good value unless you just HAVE to have bling.

I had them on for about a year, they look the same, of course there no longer polished where the pads contact the rotors, and I haven't had any issues............
