There's no real "official" criteria, only that you put miles on your Harley and when it hits what you feel is a significant milestone, you come back here and let us know about it. I'll start.
My '06 RKC just clocked over 50K today while the BIL and I were riding. I haven't put all the miles on the bike because I purchased it last September with only 37,000 miles on the odometer then! So, I think I'm well on my way to racking up a few more milestones.

Hit this a few weeks ago. All put there by ME! I have put another 3000 kms on since. This has been an unusually nice April, and I've taken full advantage of it!
Barring any unfortunate events, I should hit 200,000 miles (321869 kms) this season.
