Just wondering if there are any HD Techs on the board, who might be familiar with options listed on the HD Digital Technician II when flashing the radio to add a CB to a 22/23 Ultra that came with no CB...?
Not an HD Technician, but until one shows up...
These are the settings I can see, and the way my '16 was set up (red arrows for the CB) with both the GT and the GTS in it and it had the newer BCM also.
Thanks Ssitruc, that's extremely helpful! I wanted mainly to know if - on the GTS specifically - there is an option to switch the CB from AM to FM. However, you've revealed that there are other items that I hope are also selectable on the GTS, i.e. the Interrupt Tone Detect, and DAB enable. Also hoping that the "Radio Region Code" can be changed....

I see that's an Actia device, so not the HD Digital Tech II, but Daig4bike, yes, Ssitruc? Do you own it, or was it a place that set it up for you?
No it's not Digital Tech, it is Diag4Bike, and thats a screen shot of mine here at the house.
Ah, thanks Ssitruc, you're a lucky man to have the device! :-) I hope all the same options are available at the dealership on the Digital Tech. As a matter of interest, are all the options changeable? For me I'd need to change:
Speaker Configuration (To whatever setting covers the CVO with the additional Boom Audio amp)
Radio Region Code (To UK or Europe, whichever is available)
Digital Audio Broadcast (To enabled)
Audio Input 2 (To Interrupt Tone detect - assuming it's available, I think that where my Garmin is connected)
CB Frequency (To FM)
WHIM (To Disabled)
If you can find an Indy with TechnoResearch Centurion Super Pro, or even TechnoResearch's Alaris (Alaris is audio settings only version), they could get you going probably, probably be worth checking into, even a shop that does motorcycle audio might have the software.
Speaker/amps, yes, but... if you have Boom Stage II system, I believe a Dealer will have to do that. Harley's Stage II audio is a problem for aftermarket software I've been told, but I have never messed with one.
Radio Region Code... the setting is there, but I have never tried to change it.
Audio Input 2, I have no idea about, never tried to hook it up to a 3rd party Nav device...
CB frequency setting, mine was set to AM, and have seen FM be a problem here in the States, where the HD CB did not work until that was changed to AM.
WHIM is configurable to your bike...
Thanks again, Ssitruc. Only two TechnoResearch places listed in the UK, both hundreds of miles away. No Motorcycle Audio dealers in the UK that I've been able to find. Two listed Diag4bikes people listed in Scotland - one in Glasgow, (where the dealer is located) and one which is just a guys name and telephone number at a domestic address - left a voice message, never responded.
I don't believe the Boom Audio amp on a 14 CVO is the stage 2 system, but it's looking more and more like I have to pay the dealer prices to get them to do the job :-(
CB everywhere except the US is FM, which is why I need that changed.
Won't be using a WHIM.
