Couldnt find a proper area to post this in so Im posting it here.
Havent used a full face in awhile and my HJC full face is a little old anyway so Im looking at a new helmet.
I normally use a half helmet because I like to be able to sip my coffee and smoke while riding.
THe Flip up modular helmets seem like they would really catch the wind if riding while up and Ive heard some laws say you cant do that anyway so Ive been looking at the Flip Over style modular helmets.
There are a few out there, Shark EVO ES or OXO, LS2 Advant X, HJC F100, Scorpion EXO Tech Evo. These seem to be the popular ones.
Reading as many reviews as I can find they all seem to have their own pros and cons. ALthough the LS2 seems to be the most popular choice.
Looking for something that isnt too heavy (going from half helmet to full face modular will be quite the weight change)
Just wanted to know whom of you out there use a flip-over, which one and what are your thoughts.
I had a modular helmet and hated it. Too bulky and clunky.
I just use a full face bell. If I need a drink, I will just pull over. Good to rest anyhow.
Don't smoke. It's not good for you.
