I'm considering purchasing the DK Custom Oil Relocation Kit for my 2014 Tri Glide and have some questions. I've emailed DK but have not received a response.
I watched a YouTube video on the installation process. It was well done . . . but he mentioned that he had a DK "passenger relocation kit" which apparently relocates the passenger footrest.
It wasn't clear to me if the footrest kit was required.
If there are any thoughts pro or con on the above two kits, please let me know before I order the parts.
I've had 4 tri-glides over the years. I put the DK CUSTOM relocator on all of them. Works like a champ. Now that I bought a 2026 Street Glide 3 Limited, I had a tour pack relocation kit installed on it. 1, 2 or three inches. I put it on at 2 inches. The kit for the 2026 just came out. Easy install. The passenger footboards adjust up or down. My wife has long legs, so I adjusted them down all the way. Much happier now. I ordered the filler pad from DK Custom also the one I got was mainly for the older style tour packs. The 2026 tour pack are different. I didn't know. I sent a message to DK Custom. And now their working on getting a filler pad for the 2026 models. I hope soon. Awesome company. Going to send the original one back.
