Default How to fill this void?

2002 wide glide,I put 13.5" shocks on and need to close this up. I have garage door weatherstripping for one idea. I also saw a new gasket on ramjet racing, but idk if it would add any height? Anyone have suggestions please? Actually,i wonder if i shoukd upgrade those shocks,i bought them from fb and they were Re-worked but Never used, only thing is it was 20 yrs ago, they have Stiff resistance but it feels like they're Hard or something when i hit a big bump. Thanks 👍

Great stuff or leave it alone. I would leave it alone. Anything you do will probably be worse and a waste of time. No one sees this as issue but you

Remove the taillight, cut a piece of sheet metal to fit using the tail light mounting holes and paint black.

I was concerned about water, etc. getting in and out around there, thought it could turn into some type of issue in time. All good, appreciate it fellas!

Sounds like the shocks are ****. What brand and can they be rebuilt or do they need to be replaced with something that works?
Water shouldn't be a huge issue, it is pretty waterproof but yeah you should probably put something in there to button it up. What pipe are you running, the stock pipes wouldn't work with a 13.5" shock?

Water is getting in no matter.. Best thing to do is keep it from building up anywhere.
