Google says a OB2 reader like a simple Bluedriver (little over $100) will work on 2013 or so on with CANBUS.. You need the connector interface to plug the mismatched plug to Harley. It's less than $20 as I recall.
I created a new thread but it never went anywhere on here.
And youu know AI. Do your home.
I have three of them. All my students had them to relay any issues while they were away at school. They worked great.
One got a dash light and limp mode. Misfire. It was a bad coil pack. Limp mode so it didn't torch converter.
Other got a rear oxygen sensor code. The pre heater had burned up in it.
APP uses your Android phone. Plug it in. Wifi it and hit the menus. Doesn't do ABS i don't think unless the new ones do.

You can read and clear codes off of your speedometer or off of a tuner. Just thought I'd mention it in case you weren't aware.
I am more interested in clearing the service light and ABS flush. And a Tuner is a bit off time wise. I just got it Tuesday and have almost 3K in stuff that has come and is coming.
Of course a new Progressive rear shock was a bit over 1K and prices are insane for stuff.

Thank you reply.
I want one that for sure clears the Service Light and that can massage the ABS unit on brake flush. I am dizzy from reading reviews. It is silly as some stand alone ODB reader are up to 800 bucks!
There's a few threads on here that reference the ABS tool to fire the ABS unit. The process it to pull the brake fluid out. Then fire the ABS and then again pull the fluid out.
Numerous post on those that have difficulty with this. Mostly getting air in the system and can't get the air out of the brake lines. Few follow up.
Besure to follow up in this thread with some pictures and how the OB2 reader and ABS tools interface and work on the Harley.

Well off topic and I already have a "Thread" Policeman" batting his baton at me
Anyway I ordered this one Progressive Black 465 Series 13.5 in. Heavy Duty Shock w/Rap Adjuster
Has to be better than stock. At least you get rebound and preload adjustment. I weigh 190 and with full gear on probably close to 215. I put some Viking saddle bags on and they weigh around 30 pounds together with the mounting hardware attached to the bag.
At any rate Heavy duty is recommended riding two up, or if you are carrying more then 1/2 of the weight rating at all times. I think the FXBB can do a bit over 500 LBS? So I figure I am at half weight to fit the Heavy Duty with no issues. Link to look: https://www.denniskirk.com/progressi...prd/586382.sku
