so I went to go ride my bike today 2016 road glide special and the radio just keeps trying to restart looping over and over. I did a hard reset where I pulled the main fuse out of the bike for five minutes and when I put the fuse back in same thing, just looping over and over so I dont know where to go next any ideas?
I have now also tried pulling the single specific fuse for Radio and that did nothing. I also tried holding the power button down while putting the bike to accessory which is supposed to put you into a reset mode and that does nothing. All I get is the light going across the Harley logo comes on and then it shuts down and it restarts again to the light going across and that’s it.
If you continued holding down the power/mute button for a few seconds after turning the ignition switch to accessory with no joy, I would try reinstalling the last known firmware update by plugging in a thumb drive to the USB cable before turning the ignition to accessory. Im sure youve updated firmware in the past, so you know how to do that, right?

that wont take either. It doesnt get past the boot screen. Just keeps restarting without fully booting
Yeah, I saw your other thread after I posted. Good luck with your new upgrade.
thanks I ordered the head unit today so I should have a new head unit with CarPlay by the weekend. That will at least get me up and running, and then I could figure out the rest later
