I have a 25 road glide. And my battery tender will not charge up my battery. It was a 4 amp. Dealer said I need a 5 amp. So I purchased a 5 amp. Still won’t charge. The light on both tenders says still charging. Then a week later the battery is dead. Is there a fuse for the charger. Any help would be great. And naturally I it took the battery to the dealer. And they said it was fine. They charged it. But still same issue.
Do you have a volt/ohm meter that will measure DC volts? You really only need a maintenance charger to be at most 1.25 amp for a large Harley battery. The one for my Softail is only 750 mil amp.

You don't ride, or have a Softail anymore
He is talking about a '25 RoadGlide. Do your research, and quit trying to be a hero.
OP, did you verify you have voltage at the pigtail you are plugging into?

I just drained the fuel from it. Charging up the battery that's been sitting out of the bike for 7 months on the Harley branded 0.75 mil amp charger. Took about 4 hour to go green floating at 13.5 DC.
Will replace the 4. gallons of fuel probably tomorrow and drive it till the oil bag is back full . Son doesn't need it yet. He has two bikes
Help the OP in your way and let me choose with my question to see if he has the proper tools so he can diagnose what the issue is. Obviously, the dealer is lost or a communication problem going on
PS..
No hero here. If you like to attack USERs and tell them to get me off the HDFORUM, Message Robb M. the owner on here and let him deside for you. Just put a @ in front of his name .

Depending on how your tender is connected, OEM or aftermarket, there's either a fuse in the fuse block or an in-line fuse.
Start by checking that first.
By the way, I had a bad connection between my stator and voltage regulator.
So the tender would top off me battery between rides but on long rides the battery wasn't charging.
Left me stranded 2 hours out.

Your motorcycle owners manual will tell you the fuse locations and what they protect. I have had the fuse blow a couple of time on my 2019 Tri Glide when I hooked up the battery tender while it was energized.
NOTE:
The above information, while credible, is worth what you paid for it and should not be considered gospel.
Do due diligence, research and have a H-D Field Service Manual before working on your bike.
You will probably have many opinions and suggestions presented; make sure you research the person providing the helpful information as there are some who provide good information that is useful and some who speak out of other orifices with gibberish. You will figure out this quickly.
Little follow up. Read the owners manual on your charger. I have two. The 7.5 fuse is in the end going to battery.
Maintenance charger should only be needed if you don't ride for two weeks. And then only till green light comes on
Make sure that 5 amp is a maintance charger and does float the battery.
Took these shots this morning.
Your lost without a DC hand meter. Hook it to your charging lead on the battery. Key off and it should read about 13.6 to 13.8 or so for the average AGM battery. Cranking, never dropping below 9.7 or so. Once running at 2000 test rpm , depending on battery charge it should read between 13.5 to 14.9. Never over 15.
I use this one when battery is in bike. 750 mil amp
Manual.. important to read The fuse for the Bell CCA for a Softails TC88b Bike wanting to go somewhere. Bell 750 mil amp Battery floating on 750 mil amp. My opinion most 5 amp chargeres don't drop low enough.
