25-30 ft.-lb. stated in the manual. My issue is currently the bottom guide pin can be continuously threaded inward until it hits the rotor without ever torquing to spec. I understand this cannot be right but I don't know what I did wrong.
Any ideas to get this issue in the rear view mirror would be awesome, thanks.

Thanks for the input. I didn't think about the lower legs threads being stripped. I'll know as soon as I get home from work today, that's for sure.
Lower right fork tube mounting holes 1991 FLHS Just a slightly different angle to inspect for bad threads. My first Senior moment since I don't see evidence of these being threaded holes. I better schedule an optometrist appointment soon.
I ordered new slider bolts (guide pins) which should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get better looks and understandings about why IM UNABLE TO TORQUE THESE UP TO 25-30 FT LBS
I said it wrong, I can torque the upper bolt not the bottom one
Double check your spacers. The caliper mounts on the inside of your fork leg. The fork leg is not threaded, it is a pass thru. Best picture I could find.
Your photo is dead onh ton what mine is. I have it assemble precisely as you describe. My issue is how come the bottom pin doesn't bottom out when screwed inward. I can. screw it in all the way to the rotor. makes no sense to me?
Your rotor looks way too close to the fork leg - you sure you have your wheel spaced right?
the bottom slider pin for the caliper passes through the fork leg mount and threads into the pad holder bracket- you can kinda see the pad holder bracket , and how far away my rotor is from the fork leg in my pictures. Sorry the pics are crappy- its been raining for 5 days ,and want to go for a ride before it rains again.
The Guide Pin screws into the Pad Holder just fine as it should, other than the pin can continuously screw into the path of the rotor, therefore it can't be torqued up to spec. I'm going to try to locate a drawing for a similar single piston caliper of another model year and see what enables that pin to be tightened to 25-30 lbs and not run into the rotor. I'm most likely missing something right in front of my eyes and not seeing it. I'm sure.
Side note to you Ghetto Blaster, your ride looks awesome, just sayin'...
