Default Harley dealerships ?

The wife and I noticed that in our visits recently to several Harley dealerships that they ALL seem to have way less inventory in parts, apparel and even more room on the floor where the bikes normally were. This is in Wisconsin, anybody else notice the same?......kinda disappointing even.

Yes, it's partly because one of HD's new business plans is to keep less used inventory.

I also see this . I had to order a part & it took a couple of weeks. I called a couple days later to cancel & they said i would have to pay a restocking fee. Now they classify this as a special order.

Not around here. The stores are pretty full of inventory.

I agree, every dealership in central NC that I have visited has had plenty of inventory; bikes, parts and clothes

Two dealerships near me are 65 and 88 miles away. The last few years if I needed a part from either one it's a special order. The simplest of things these days need to be ordered.
