Having some electronic issues with my '05 Deluxe. A few weeks back girlfriend road my bike. Came back said the speedo stopped working. Went road it no issues. Hasn't been a problem since. This past weekend gas indicator seems to have stopped working. Either shows completely full or completely empty. Also, gas indicator light did not come on until ran completely out of gas. This happened on the interstate as I was trying to out run rain. Couple calls and that was all taken care of. Now yesterday engine light came on. Pulled over. Engine running fine, no obvious signs of problems. Shut off, came back on. Shut off again, light didn't come back on and road home 30 miles no problems.


Any guesses?

If your check engine light went on and off, check you codes. It may have logged a couple that will give you a clue what is going on.

 

Start with the battery cables. Make sure they are nice and tight.
