I'm trying to buy this bike and was curious what your opinions were. It is a one owner with6400 miles on it and has very detailed service records. He's a fair weather rider and has pampered the bike quite a lot. He also has the matching corbin passenger seat/back rest pad on the HD quick detach sissy bar. I really like the looks of the pipes but I'm curious about how they sound compared to V&H Bigshots for example. The seller is at $11,500 and I don't think I can get him much lower. Any thoughts.

MAN THAT IS A HELL OF GOOD BUY!!!! beautiful bike and a lot of high dollar extra's, if the bike has never been in a bad wreck or have major engine problem's I would buy it myself!!! To try to keep high mile's off of my bike. Go to www.hdtrader.com and enter year 2000 and then scroll down to see FAT BOY'S with 15,000 mile's wanting $14,000.00 or other's with twice the mile's and not look as good as your bike. There is not one I saw that cost less than what you can buy, this guy must need money bad!!!! Or there is something wrong, but CHIT I would buy it if you don't so let me know!! I will drive my truck and pick it up, let me know if you do not buy it Please. PURPLE HAZE.

I have a 2000 Heritage. I found out that some of them had a bad cam bearing in it. I found out the hard way, had to fix some damage. I don't know if it was just one style of bike and not another, but you could check with an HD dealer and see. (88b motors in yr.2000)

The bike hasn't ever been wrecked and is absolutely flawless.....if that is possible. He's a 61 year old that just did more pampering than riding and he's selling it because he's always wanted a road king and it will be here in a couple of weeks..........he said at hisage he figured he better buy it now. The guy with all the service records is a local shop owner that has personally done all the service work and can vouch for it's history. The rineharts have 6 miles on them.........he ransamson "ground pounders ??" until a few weeks ago when he decided to buy these pipes. He had the shop owner order them and install them and has put a total of 6 miles on it since........I'm thinking he has more money than sense but who am I to judge. A friend of mine called me about it and took the pics for me. The shop owner says that everytime he has that bike on the rack to service it that the other customers take notice. I appreciate all the advice. It looks like I'll be unloading my 1200 Custom. I'm almost always 2up and the sporty gets a little cramped for my wife.
