Good question, I would think that there is less reason for restrictive resistor wires, unless you have a bagger with a radio.
So higher performance low resistance copper core wires 'should' be the order of the day.

But it will be interesting to see what the 'group' thinks.

do a search on here for spark plug wires. there is a big thread about how some wires have too little resistance and affect the engine because it uses the wire to sense (I think) preignition knocking issues.... someone bought too low of resistance wires and had to replace.

plus the HD screaming eagle wires are not that expensive and precut to the right size.

THAT'S what I was trying to say, the stock wire's are 7 mm and they work fine but I have a scremin eagle 103 FAT BOY 06 no engine mods. I ran out of money for the fund's I had set a side, but trying any thing I can to make run better so I bought the 8 mm wire's and had HARLEY tech. say they could help with DYNO by maybe 1 H.P but they are HARLEY and only cost $12.00 and I bought the Triple Platinum Plug's too, they both are scremin eagleHARLEY part's and plug's $18.00, Hell I thought would not hurt, just get right heat range on plug's. PURPLE HAZE. P.S bike start's a lot better, just a bump on button and FIRE!!
